State of Florida Matching Gift Program

Many donations to IRSC may qualify for state matching funds. Funding and match percentages for all matching gift programs are determined by the State Legislature and are subject to change. The amount of match is determined at the time a gift is fully paid and certified to the State Match Office. IRSC submits eligible gifts for matching but does not control the time or amount of the match funded by the legislature. Florida has historically funded donations for state college facilities and scholarships on a dollar-for-dollar basis, with gifts for program support receiving $2 for every $3 donated. While Florida’s current budget status offers no guarantees regarding matching funds, the IRSC Foundation will seek the appropriate match for your gift.
