About Our Program

The Lifelong Learning Institute at IRSC is a peer led and peer directed membership program designed specifically for men and women age 50 and better. Members of the Lifelong Learning Institute have the first opportunity to register for any of the offerings and offering fees vary. Many of the offerings are limited in the number of participants. Early registration is strongly recommended as offerings fill quickly. Offerings are subject to change. Special events require advance registration and in some instances require a series subscription. These offerings are non-college credit and may not apply to any IRSC college credit program. Offerings are held at all five IRSC branch campuses.

Share Your Knowledge

Offerings provide members the opportunity to learn, simply for the joy of learning. There are no tests, no grades, no pre-requisites and no college credit given. Members come together to share ideas and points of view in a social and intellectual spirit. Members serve as both "teacher" and student."
