TAKE STOCK IN CHILDREN — SUPPORT A SCHOLARSHIP

Community Support is Vital

Community support is vital to the future success of the President’s Challenge/Take Stock in Children program. Community organizations, such as the Sailfish Point Foundation pictured above, help make the college dreams of low-income, at-risk youth come true. Without the support of the caring businesses and individuals in Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee and St. Lucie counties, the President's Challenge/Take Stock in Children scholarship program would not be so successful.

Local businesses, organizations and individuals may donate money to help our children realize their dream of a college education. Through the Florida Prepaid College Foundation, the IRSC Foundation is able to purchase scholarships at a reduced rate which maximizes the impact of a gift. A single scholarship is currently $9,000, and with this matching program, a $9,000 donation becomes a $18,000 donation!
