"There’s something special about IRSC…” is often one of the things visitors say when they are touring one of our campuses. It’s not just the modern facilities and well-maintained campuses, it’s also the employees and students.

We are fortunate to have the support of many people who believe in the good work IRSC is doing for our students and our community. Many of our donors thank us for giving them the opportunity to make a difference through their support. Of course, we are sincerely appreciative of every type of support we receive, ranging from in-kind donations of used books and equipment to millions of dollars for programs and facilities.

We are proud to present a few testimonials so that you can see how your support helps us to impact the lives of many people.

Meet Scholarship Recipient Stephen Brancaccio

Stephen Brancaccio, 28 yrs. old
2009 Bachelor’s Degree Graduate
Organizational Management
I entered the Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) program because I always wanted to obtain a bachelor's degree. I felt like I was incomplete without it. I completed this degree with ease because the professors made the courses really enjoyable. The BAS courses and professors challenged me in a way that I have never been challenged before. Through the IRSC Foundation, I received scholarship support that made it possible for me to attend college, which will help me to provide for my wife and child in the future. Without this support, I might not have received this new job opportunity working for Roche Diagnostics as a Technical Service Representative. I install all of the Roche clinical chemistry analyzers, perform product updates and conduct new test uploads. I help my clients with all of their technical needs. I have a territory that extends from Vero Beach to Ft. Lauderdale which includes more than ten different clients. Without IRSC’s BAS program, I would not be in the position I am in right now. Thanks again

Video Production,
IRSC E-Learning Department
I just wanted to take a minute and thank the Foundation staff for all of the hard work they do finding supporters for the College. Recently, I visited another state college because I am going to help provide video services for a graduation event. When I arrived, I was taken on a tour and I have to say they are so far behind on technology and upgrades. My guide said that the college has a hard time getting funding to upgrade their technology and facility needs. Consequently, they must make due with what they receive from state funding. I realized how lucky we are to have what we have at IRSC and a large portion of that comes from donors that you introduce to the College. Thanks for helping to show others that an investment into IRSC is an investment to our community’s future. Thank you to your department for all that you do!
