Scholarships

Many deserving students need support to close the gap between their income and the amount needed to pay for college classes and books. Even though most students work while attending college, many have family and personal responsibilities, which are also funding priorities. Without scholarship support, many hard-working young people would be unable to further their educations.

The Indian River State College Foundation enhances students' access and quality of education by attracting and managing private contributions from individuals, corporations, and private foundations. The IRSC Foundation awards more than $4 million in scholarships each year to assist students in gaining a college education.

For an annual minimum of $1,000, a scholarship can be "customized” to match your area of interest. Memorial scholarships are a wonderful way to honor loved ones while helping students achieve their dreams.

Endowed scholarships are created to last forever, assisting students through the income produced by the invested funds. To permanently endow a scholarship, a minimum of $15,000 is needed. From this point forward, the scholarship will remain available to students throughout the future.

The IRSC Foundation provides scholarship support to incoming and current IRSC students in a wide variety of areas. Outstanding IRSC graduates who have completed their associate degrees continue to receive support for their junior and senior years through the IRSC Foundation’s transfer scholarship program.
