IRSC Employee Appeal

Employee Support

Message from the President

Dear IRSC Family,

The Indian River State College Foundation welcomes you back for another exciting academic year and invites you to take part in our 2016 Employee Appeal campaign:

Last year, IRSC employees generously and collectively donated $118,312 to support scholarships, educational facilities and other critical student success initiatives.

The IRSC Foundation was pleased to assist 3,000 students with scholarship funds to cover tuition and books in 2015. These efforts were vital in helping more students persist in their studies through to completion. Unfortunately, we still had to turn away hundreds because we simply didn’t have the funds to assist every qualified student.

Even a small amount can quickly add up to change a student’s life.  For example, if you were to “Pack Your Lunch” one day per week and donate the $10 you would have spent at a restaurant, you would be able to donate $40 per month, or $480 per year!

To help you “Pack Your Lunch” for students – we are giving custom “ONE TEAM, ONE DREAM” lunch totes to the first 200 employees who make a gift!

“Packing Your Lunch” is just one example of how little changes in our lives can make big changes in a student’s future.  As a valued supporter, please consider increasing your previous level of support if you are able.  A few dollars each pay period can quickly add up through payroll deductions to provide assistance to deserving students.

Gift per pay period            Total annual gift

$5                                        $120

$10                                      $240

$20                                      $480

$50                                      $1,200

The enclosed donor form outlines the methods for easily making a donation.  Your support, at any level, is always greatly appreciated and will be recognized with a listing on the Foundation’s Honor Roll.  Thank you for your dedication and ongoing commitment.
