IRSC Foundation Scholarships

IRSC FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION WILL OPEN IN NOVEMBER 2016 FOR THE 2017-2018 ACADEMIC YEAR

All former, incoming and current students must have a MyIRSC account to complete the application.  (Make sure your RiverMail is active and you are able to send and receive mail from that account prior to November 2016.

Scholarship deadlines began January 31, 2017 for the 2017-2018 academic year.

High School seniors must send 1st semester official transcripts electronically by your High School Counselor or official transcripts must be sealed and mailed to IRSC Admissions and Records (IRSC Office of Admissions & Records 3209 Virginia Ave. Fort Pierce, FL 34981-5596) by January 12, 2017 to meet scholarship deadline.

Students will be notified through RiverMail during the months of April – July if they have been selected as an IRSC Scholarship recipient.

Other Scholarship Opportunities

Along with the scholarship opportunities available through IRSC's Online Scholarship Application, the IRSC Foundation also accepts applications for the following scholarships:

The Michael Abt. Jr. Memorial Endowed Scholarship is awarded annually to a graduating senior from Sebastian River High School who has a 2.0 or higher GPA and plans to attend IRSC. To apply, please download and submit an application to Julia Keenan, IRSC Foundation Development Coordinator by March 15, 2016.

The Ethel "Hutchie" Altobello Nursing Scholarship is designed to assist students who reside in Okeechobee County and are enrolled in an IRSC Nursing program (CNA, LPN, ADN, or BSN). Student must have/maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher to be eligible. To apply, please download and submit an application to Julia Keenan, IRSC Foundation Development Coordinator by May 24, 2016.

The Davis Family Altruistic Foundation Scholarship is available to all employees and dependents of R. K. Davis Construction Corporation employees who aspire to a higher education. Recipients must have a 2.5 or higher GPA. Test scores and financial need will be taken into consideration. To apply, please download and submit an application to Julia Keenan, IRSC Foundation Development Coordinator by March 31, 2016.

The Basil L. King Scholarship Foundation provides scholarship assistance to residents of St. Lucie County, Florida who are embarking on a career in the Health Sciences. Medical scholarships are also available for students pursing an advanced degree in medicine, dentistry and pharmacy. For complete eligibility requirements and an application please visit www.blksf.org.

The Adrian M. Sample Scholarship Trust provides scholarship assistance to residents of St. Lucie and Okeechobee County, Florida or residents of a foreign country. Scholarships are also available for students pursuing a degree in Veterinary Medicine or Theology.  For complete eligibility requirements and an application please visit www.adriansamplescholarship.com.
